So, the thing seems good. High quality materials & construction. My one gripe is kind of a big one, at least from my perspective. It’s a new trend that I find misguided at best & probably more like irresponsible. What is the reason for selling things that require instructions to use safely, without the instructions? If you are foolish enough to believe you are saving trees by not including a manual with a product like this, then print an abbreviated version on the box that the gun comes in. Ye old “Getting started” or “Quick set-up” or something. 3 or 4 bullet points to at least point an ignorant schleprock like myself in the right direction. Or, email the manual to the customer. Something. Do something to instruct the purchaser on the fundamentals, at least, of loading & shooting the silly thing. I mean, this product is quite lethal, which is why I bought it, but is it not I’ll advised to sell a lethal product to an unvetted lump without including any instructions on it’s safe & responsible? Call me old fashioned. So, I meandered on over to the the Airgun Tactical website, as one does, in search of the manual for the Harpoon, & there is indeed an exhaustive list of manuals for a dizzying array of air powered guns. “Jack pot”!….no. No sir, even. The ONLY gun, out of probably 30-40 different ones, that says “Coming soon!” next to it, is the Harpoon. Yup, I managed to buy the ONE air powered gun in the free world that has a manual that’s “Coming soon” rather than a manual that instructs one on the safe & responsible use of a thing. So, I emails Airgun Tactical, and nothing. For a week, then 2,…and many is the frustration when I finally email them again with a little of that frustration readily evident in my tone. Home slice CALLED me within minutes of sending the email. Can’t remember his name but he was very helpful and told me that the manual for the defender is what I should use, as it is nearly identical in its method of operation. Alls well that ends well? Maybe. Anyway, I aim to shoot it some & then come back & submit a proper review sans passive aggressive undertones.

The cartridges hold air as they're supposed to and it feels good to have metal slug loaders although the plastic ones are holding up well this far
