The Bintac T9 is an amazing semi auto powerhouse! Produces a very respectable and consistent 80-100 fpe. I get about 19-21 shots a fill depending on temperature, humidity and extrinsic factors. I alternate from an 1100cc transfer tank to refill and my air compressor. The 1100cc tops me off for 3 solid fills (15,13,11+ shots in order from each fill). And if I have more time I’ll use the air compressor and be at 4500 psi before I can even finish reloading my mags. You can also purchase an air regulator for an external tank and remain tethered for extremely high shots per fill. I’m about 400 rounds deep into it and it’s performing amazingly. Overall I’d give it an 8.5/10 for reliability. Jams will happen BUT THEY CAN BE PREVENTED. Stick to the jsb exact or the hades and it will run like a dream. I personally have not successfully put anything but the jsb pellets through mine and I’ve had minimal issues (factory mags were only issue). Slugs struggle to stabilize when being cycled in and have a tendency to get ‘bit’ by the bolt, including the H&N Grizzly hollow points. I have seen people have success with texoma precision pellets/slugs and the FX hybrid slugs but haven’t tried them myself. Highly recommend looking in to the ‘MACABESPEED T9 GEN 2 SBR Kit’. (https://macabespeed.com/shop/ols/products/bintac-b-and-w-t9-sbr-kit-space-grey-carbon) This will allow you to run aftermarket, belt fed, 11 or 13 round mags. Significantly higher capacity and reliability. I have maybe 1-2 jams every 100 rounds but it’s normally user error. None of which have required me to bust tools out to amend. THE FACTORY MAGS SUCK. There’s no way around it, I’ve tightened the face on them and had slightly better performance but after 1-200 shots they’re done. The gun itself is of fantastic quality especially for modern Airguns technology, unfortunately the mags don’t match this quality but you’re better off with the belt fed mags anyways. I run a red dot due to the limited rail space and have no problems punching through the same hole at 15-25 yards. I will be purchasing a rail extender to run a 3x magnifier and should have no problems up to 50+ yards in an insanely compact platform -will definitely fit in a backpack- Minimal recoil but it is there, the ‘T-Design’ of the tank provides a great platform to stabilize for extended shooting. Again, if you get MACABESPEED’s aftermarket kit you’ll be provided with multiple foregrip options, additional rail space, barrel shroud, extended mags and the ability to use them. I also heavily recommend the ‘CNC Sliding stock’ also from airgun tactical. The folding stocks are to bulky and excessive in my opinion for this platform. The gun is very LOUD, I run a DonnyFL Yokozuna for backyard shooting and my neighbors don’t mind, it brings it to a more manageable ‘thump’ but you’ll still have a tad bit of ringing in the ears from the first shot or two with no hearing protection.
Overall I have no major complaints with the t9. Yes the mags suck, there’s a better aftermarket solution so don’t cry about it. Yes it struggles to run slugs, but it’s not intended for that and the pellets still punch better than you can ask for. Other than that, fantastic piece of machinery.

The magazines are made very cheap doesn’t suit the quality of the rifle at all to add do not purchase slugs because they don’t shoot well and at best I highly suggest that you’re not purchased the bintac t9 it’s not worth the money. I’ve had this for a couple of weeks and it jams every single time not worth it. I’m really mad about that.
Hi there,
Sorry to hear that you are having issues with your BinTac T9. We can assure you that this is the #1 airgun sold in multiple countries in Europe and here in the USA, and we do not have any reported issues with the T9. However, it is important to note that the T9 requires proper blowback air pressure to properly cycle the bolt. Using low pressure can cause jamming issues. We hope this helps and please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist you. Thank you for your feedback.
After about 11 or 12 shots I noticed the safety switch no longer will engage it stays in the fire mechanism. Apparently there's a pen that's got to go back in place rather than that it's got a pretty good punch
Thank you for your feedback on the BinTac T9. We're glad to hear you're enjoying the gun overall. We apologize for the issue you experienced with the safety switch. Our team is aware of this and we are working to improve it. In the meantime, please contact our customer service team and we will assist you with getting the pen back in place.
